First Texas Olive Oil

to The Bella Vista Ranch, located in the hill country of Wimberley, Texas. Designed to reflect a traditional Italian family farm, the ranch is home to over 1000 producing olive trees, seasonal fruit and vegetables, a frantoio (olive press), a winery, tasting room and gift shop.

We sell olive trees of varying size and age for ornamental, home or orchard development purposes and provide fee-based consulting services for large-scale projects.

First Texas Olive Oil Co., is headquartered at the Ranch. You can taste the grassy, peppery and most importantly FRESH olive oil that we’ve been making here since 2001. Our olive oil is sold exclusively at our retail store on the Ranch or the “Store” link on this website.

Bella Vista Cellars is a winery also located on the Ranch. We handcraft hill country varietals using locally grown grapes and offer a selection of seasonal fruit wines including our popular Blackberry Wine. Stop by to enjoy wines in our tasting room.

We also offer tours of the frantoio, winery, orchards and gardens for individuals as well as groups. Tours provide you an opportunity to explore our orchards and gardens, learn about the agriculture and cultivation of our olives, grapes, and other fruit before participating in a guided tasting of our fresh-made products. Guided tours last about 1 - 1 1/2 hours long and there is a fee of $10.00 per person.

Thurs/Fri/Sat – 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Tours on Saturday at 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM)

Sunday – Noon-4:00 PM
(Tour starts at Noon)

As always, Monday - Wednesday are available for group tours (over 10 people) by appointment.
